Here’s a link to a seminar by film director David Lynch on meditation, brain function and learning. I’m not going to lie to you – it gets wierd. It is, however, very useful information if you can get past the language and techniques they employ to discuss learning, perception and understanding.
David Lynch directed Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks – just as a point of reference. He’s a member of the American meditation fringe – with a political component. It’s no wonder the seminar takes place at Berkeley – they propose some Abbey Hoffman style politics – but the stuff on brains themselves, and perception, is pretty good.
Good luck! Have fun! Be patient!
