Excellent! It’s day 2 of this CL4 blog – and have I got a proposal for YOU! How about putting together a student committee to operate an English language CL4 web-radio programme? Anybody interested? I personally would be very happy to facilitate such a thing, that is, to help coordinate etc. It is something that is very possible through the existing U of Urbino web-radio. The director there assures me that they have space on the platform! This is something that our colleagues in far-away Canada have just begun to do for the Italian Studies Department at Dalhousie university (if your interested – listen to http://www.ckdu.ca from 9-10 am (Atlantic time = 14:00-15:00 in Italy) where you can listen to an Italian interest programme from the North American point of view! WE CAN DO THIS TOO!!!! Eccezzionale veramente!
As well, I’d like to remind young Italian students between the ages of 18 – 35 that they have the right to obtain a work visa to go to Canada to find a job for up to 6 months. This is an interesting thing, perhaps, for those of you in the third year who are finishing your studies. You must apply through the Canadian Embassy in Rome at http://www.canada.it – and look at the page “in italiano”.
Ok – Now I’ve noticed that I can only upload 50 mega of data total – so we may all have to be a bit clever about how to use this blog – or I have to “buy more space”. If I upload the lessons once every three weeks then I can leave the material on-line for three weeks. Then I have to replace it with the material for the next module. This is a bit unfortunate – as it would be nice to have the whole thing on-line. I’ll see what I can do.
Anyway – I need a better internet connection to upload this, so I’m not going to do it here.
