This page contains links to the Language and Culture for Business podcast – an area for students and professionals to discuss the relationships between Language, Culture and Business, and the many, many topics related to these three themes. The purpose is to help students activate their learning about the topic and generate curiosity and knowledge. The format of the podcasts may vary from time to time. Sometimes we will have interviews, sometimes readings of news and topics of interest.
The point of the podcasts is to make available to students a free and voluntary extracurricular activity that can help them work with and interact with the areas of study within the curriculum. As well, it should be a forum in which students can speak and listen – OF COURSE ALL IN ENGLISH!!!!
I produced the first two podcasts myself. They were inserted into a couple of posts last september. I’ve posted them here to kickstart this podcast project, about which I have already written a couple of times. Hopefully in the future there will be student contributions.
