Well, here it is – recession in countries whose private financial institutions are too closely tied to the housing market! You heard it here first! Can anybody give me a good definition of “recession”? And – what is the difference between a “recession” and a “depression” – in economic terms of course! What do you think the effects of this may be for Italy? For you?
In lighter news, we’re not too far away from having a link on the CL4 Lingue website for downloading lesson material from all the lettori. This should be very cool. I’ve asked for tonnes of space, so I should be able to load our audio files and slides. Here’s the magic question – did you find that the slides helped you with your January exams? I really hope so! If, however, it wasn’t an effective tool, just let me know – I won’t get offended!
I hope you’re all taking a bit of a break after exams and before lessons start up again. I’ve been busy working on getting better recording equipment for the classroom – slowly, slowly! We need to get the web-radio idea back on the road too, once lessons hit it’s going to be difficult to manage. I believe my office hours (ricevimento) are Monday from 13:00 to 14:00. Oh yeah, I’ll repeat my request to you to not use my g-mail address, I don’t check that anymore – there was too much Spam. Anyhoo – all the best to everyone! Take care!

I’m glad you like my blog! And of course I have no problem with you adding it to your blogroll—the more traffic the better. (My preferences are monotonic; I’m actually studying for an econ exam right now, ha.) And I love reading comments on the blog, too. It’s probably the best part of running it. I’m sure you’d agree with me there.
I certainly do agree with you! OK – advertising to all CL4 students who read this blog! kaxeeu has a great blog that talks about the ups and downs of being an economics student in the US – very cool. The link is in the blogroll!
All the best to all the best!
